We strive to produce bird dogs that are able to speak for themselves as to their abilities. For this reason, we require our puppy buyers to run the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test. This test gives us an unbiased report card of our breeding and vital feedback for future litters.

For those unfamiliar, NAVHDA stands for North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association and is the largest organization of its kind. We prefer the NAVHDA testing organization over other testing organizations as it was built solely for versatile gun dogs and as such, it is all encompassing of upland, waterfowl and tracking in its testing programs. Other testing organizations such as AKC focus solely on upland hunting. Given that we hold ourselves out to be a preservation breeder of the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, we believe it is important to maintain the original versatility intent of the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon that encompasses all these modalities of hunting.
